Common Questions
Fluke Networks FAQs
Do you provide cable test reports?
Yes. Every Summit DNC cabling installation includes Fluke DSX certification testing with a detailed PDF test report for every cable run. These reports are required for manufacturer warranty registration.
What is the difference between verification and certification testing?
Verification checks basic connectivity. Certification (which we provide) tests the full cable channel against TIA-568 standards with pass/fail results. Only certification testing qualifies for extended manufacturer warranties.
Do you test fiber optic installations?
Yes. We perform fiber loss testing with Fluke certifiers and OTDR trace analysis. We also inspect every fiber connector with a FiberInspector before connections are made.
